Enia Alberto is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a NDIS Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Staff Training and Upskilling, and a second Master’s degree in Special Education. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Education, with a research focus on Special Education and Inclusion. Her research examines education policy, teacher preparation, and the systemic and evidence-based practices that support meaningful inclusion in schools. Professionally, Enia has extensive experience working with children and adolescents and collaborating with families, educators, schools, clinicians, and multidisciplinary teams. Her work has increasingly focused on strengthening the connection between research and practice, supporting professionals to translate evidence into approaches that are practical, sustainable, and responsive to the realities of educational and clinical settings. Her career spans multiple countries and includes clinical leadership, professional supervision, educator training, research, and cross-sector collaboration.. Through EdUnlocked, Enia contributes to the development of evidence-informed professional learning and builds partnerships with educators, educational settings, researchers, and organisations with a shared interest in improving inclusive practice. Beyond her academic and professional work, Enia is the co-founder and active supporter of Ayudar is Possible (“It is Possible to Help”), a non-profit organisation in the Dominican Republic.
