Director of Programs & Curriculum

Ellen has been practicing in the field of behaviour analysis and education since 2007. Armed with a double Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science, a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis, and a Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis, Ellen is a valued expert in her field- backed by years of hands-on experience and a commitment to evidence-based practice. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst- Doctoral (BCBA-D), a Certified Behavior Analyst with ABA Australia, and a Behaviour Support Practitioner registered with the NDIS, Ellen brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding. She has worked across a variety of settings including home-based and community programs, childcares, adult day programs, public and private schools, and non-public schools.

Courtenay Dench

Director of Professional Practice and Learning Experience

Courtenay is an experienced and passionate educator. She loves making a difference at a crucial time in a learners’ life and is passionate about every child reaching their individual potential. Courtenay is mum to 3 beautiful children and moved to Australia from New Zealand, following three years living in Fiji, in 2023. On arriving in Australia, she decided to pursue her passion for working with children with special needs. She gained incredible knowledge and experience, collaborating with allied health professionals to provide quality and effective early intervention support. She developed skills and competence in behaviour analysis and is competently able to apply these within a classroom setting. Courtenay studied her Bachelor of Education at Massey University in New Zealand, graduating in 2007 and commencing her education career in 2008. Her first role was teaching in a primary school in the Wellington region where she quickly adapted to being a full time classroom teacher. She transitioned into early childhood education in 2013 and gained experience across all ages of early childhood, learning and implementing a different curriculum effectively. In every education setting she has worked in, Courtenay has held leadership and training roles and loves collaborating with other staff members to improve the education experience for educators and learners. She is excited to share her knowledge and collaborate with people all across Australia to make a difference in their classroom!

Enia Alberto

Enia Alberto 

Director of Strategy & Partnerships  

Enia Alberto is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (Behavior Analyst Certification Board), a Certified Behaviour Analyst (ABA Australia), and a Behaviour Support Practitioner registered with the NDIS. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Staff Training and Upskilling, and a second Master’s degree in Special Education. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Special Education, where her research focuses on political policies and effective inclusive education, examining how systemic approaches and evidence-based practices can better support equity and inclusion in schools. Professionally, Enia has extensive experience working directly with children and adolescents, while also collaborating with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to foster inclusion and positive development. As a clinical supervisor, she coaches and mentors new clinicians and partners with both special needs and general educators to create supportive classroom environments. Her career extends across multiple countries, where she has supported special needs teachers, provided professional training, and collaborated with clinicians to implement evidence-based intervention strategies and inclusive practices. Beyond her academic and professional work, Enia is the co-founder and active supporter of Ayudar is Possible (“It is Possible to Help”), a non-profit organization in the Dominican Republic.
